It's time for some community Theatre! With the success of the Winchester Voices community choir, the Canal Winchester Performing Arts Collective is ready to take the next step in bringing Performing Arts to CW.

Do you like improv? Or prefer a scripted part? Do you like creating big characters? Do you bring a special skill? Mime? Juggling? Do you work best behind the scenes?

Do you want to join us in this new experience?

Our first project will be a Street Theatre Troupe that will premier Saturday, May 18 during the annual CW Art Stroll, noon to 6:00pm in Historic Canal Winchester!

These first performances of our Street Theatre Troupe will be designed to highlight the skills of our performers. The scripts will be in the 10 minute range so rehearsals will be scheduled around the actors' availability. Depending on the number performers, we may form multiple ensembles to perform in different locations on different schedules throughout the afternoon.

Once our troupe is up and running, we'll be looking for other opportunities to perform at other Downtown Canal Winchester events through the year. This will include the Historic Ghost Tours and Christmas in the Village and collaborations with the Wagnalls Theatre.
