Into the later 2000's, Canal Winchester had a community choir, the Canal Winchester Chorale directed by Virginia Heffner. The Canal Winchester Performing Arts Collective is excited to continue this tradition with the Winchester Voices.

Our mission is to create a welcoming space for choral singers of all levels of proficiency and backgrounds.

This vocal ensemble is open to everyone without an audition, ages 16 and up. The only requirement is a love of singing and creating the Art with others. The Choir's music will range from Sacred and Secular, Pop and Broadway, to Folk and Classical.

We are now taking Signups for our Spring Sing: Winchester Voices In Bloom, starting Thursday, Feb 20. We'll be rehearsing on Thursday evenings, 7:00-8:30pm at Hope Methodist Church, 83 East Columbus St. in Canal Winchester.

Since our group is sponsored by the Canal Winchester Performing Arts Collective, a 501(c)3 non-profit, Choir members will be asked to pay a $25 fee each session to help purchase music and supplies. This fee can be paid at the first rehearsal or you can click the link to PNC Bank's secure "Clover" website.

The Winchester Voices will be directed by Todd Phillips. Mr. Phillips (Fil) has nearly 40 years of Choral Music Education experience, the last 35 years as the Canal Winchester High School Vocal Music Educator. Under his direction, the High School Vocal Department consistently scored high ratings in OMEA Solo and Ensemble, District and State Competitions.
